Frequently asked
Questions we hear from the field.
Poor body condition, reduced appetite, dull coat, digestive disturbances, weakness and reduced productivity can be associated with parasitic infestation. A veterinarian can help identify the likely cause.
Internal parasites can interfere with nutrient absorption and utilization, leading to poor body condition, reduced growth, weakness and lower milk production. External parasites such as ticks, lice and mites can cause irritation, blood loss, skin damage and stress. Heavy infestations can also affect immunity, reproductive performance, and overall productivity.
Albendazole: Binds to β-tubulin in susceptible parasites, disrupting microtubule formation and glucose utilization. This depletes the parasite's energy reserves, eventually leading to immobilization and death.
Micronisation reduces the particle size of albendazole, increasing its surface area and improving its dissolution. This can support better absorption and bioavailability compared with conventional larger-particle albendazole.
